I love my life but don't get me wrong I still have my off days where I'm not as joyful as usual. I really don't mind going to school except our whole school/ school system is under construction. In our science and social studies based classes we are trying s pilot grading system which basically is where you don't have homework but it's still assigned so you have practice for the test. But what's the point of doin the homework when you understand the stuff. Right now in my chemistry class I have had the best grade ever without doing any assignments. But this semester out school administration decided to try this pilot grading school out and if it were to fail it would be revoked. In a sense we are an experiment like a bunch of lab rats. Also our school Is literally under construction and we didnt have a function lunch room for the longest time, now we eat in the middle school lunch room which is way to small for a high of nearly 1500 students. To me this is ridiculous but when all Of this stuff get done we will have one of the nicer high schools in the state. Except for of course we don't have updated technology we still have computer monitors and tvs from before 2000. Our school really needs to update our technology to help better the learning experience for each and every stundent that goes through our school system. I really think if we make a couple simple changes we can boost of attendance at school and out graduation rate. That is all for now talk to you later fellow bloggers. :]

Music choice

We all love to listen to music whether it's because it makes us happy or if it is just jamming out on the way to work, school etc it doesn't matter we all listen to music. Lolz that was a major run on sentence. Anyway what kind of music do you prefer I live to listen to my favorite rapper kid cudi it seems like whenever I listen to him I have a better understand of what I am going though or his lyrics can calm me down. I also love to listen to lupe he has a similar rapping style to kid cudi's style. Besides listening to rap/hip hop I listen to alot of dub step and that stuff just pumpeds be up I feel like I could conquer the world. Lol, anyway what is your favorite kind of music? What rapper really sends you a message? Do you love music as much as me? I already know the answer to that last question:). Immaturity at its finest

So I have been talking with this girl for a solid two months and last week she was being short with me so I asked what's up wih that. I then got the reply that she wasn't interested in having a relationship at all, but she still likes me. She wants to take a break from our "relationship." when I approach her she won't make eye contact or even talk to me when I try to. With that being said talked she talked to me saying she needed to talk to me after school so I went to her locker like I usually did in he past and she completely ignored me and said for me to talk to one of her friends to tell me what she wanted to say.... Immature, I really want to know why she is playing head games with me. Before this event even happened a couple weeks ago she had said I wasn't giving her enough attention so I slightly gave her some more and apparently I was being clingy, ugh. Everything was fine until I had to say something was bothering me and then apparently Sharon my feelings with the girl I like changed our relationship. Hopefully everything turns out well though I really like this girl and it's worth the fight if she is willing to be more mature.

crazy events in the life of alex

well this last week sure has been a crazy one. I'm sure even Mr. Dykstra is on the count down for days left in the school year. Nearly every one is excited for summer! Last Friday I "Skipped" school due to strep throat which is when you have a burning sensation in the back of your throat it often can be fixed by taking your tonsils out. Well anyway on Friday at newman elementary, around the time of recess my brother was going hard, playing some soccer then he collided with one of his friends. His friend landed on his lower leg. He started screaming was immediately taken to the nurse. The nurse then relayed a call to my pops. My pops drove like a mad man to take my brother to the hospital. Jacob got x-rays he broke his leg down by the ankle region. The Doctor had to  take Jacob in to surgery to fix his bones. He is now in a cast for 6 weeks, I also got a call from the doctor saying there is a slight chance i may have pneumonia so he put me on a different medicine to cure that and i am still recovery from that sickness. From being sick i accumulated a bunch of homework which included typing an essay for mr trask. Which i Indeed received a perfect on:). I was a happy boy. Well over this weekend i ran at drake stadium i saw some outstanding performances. I unfortunately had one of the worst races of my life. I felt so out of it. I finished dead last with a terrible time of eleven minutes fifty seconds. I was so mad, even though i was battling sickness that was no excuss good enough for this set back. I just need to get back on track to running ten minutes twenty seconds by the end of the year,

The past two days

So as many of you know track has recently started and I won't be at school as much during the last few hours of the day because of track meets. Which sucks because then I fall behind in school. I hate that especially around the  end of the school year because then you can;t get so far behind that your grade can drop dramatically... Oh well to my point yesterday we had a meet which involved the boys track team to get out of class around 1:15. Well I was marked down to run the 2 mile.... What fun? I loved it. I ended up running a 10 minute 55 second 2 mile not too bad it placed me third overall. We had our meet in south tama nearly a 3 hour bus ride it was intense. We left the meet around 10. So we didn't get home until around 12:40.  So today I have been going on literally 5 hours of sleep. It's just so much fun! Well today was a pretty good day i managed to get through the day without falling asleep! Then after school what do i get to look froward to? More track! yeaaah! so much fun! We had ice cream! Finally after our ice cream night at track I went to the mall to go look for some kicks and clothes... Failed attempt at that. Our mall has nearly nothing to choose from. Then I ran into Katy Salmon working at birdsalls then Morgan Leider showed up a little bit later. We chilled for awhile then I went to go home and now I am typing my blog. So now I am deciding whether i  should go to the ymca or not. I think i will go to the ymca or play just dance two. Yeah I am definately going to the y to get some shots up. This will be fun!

spring break 2011

Spring break was actually really good this year. The weather was great with exception of the last two days when it was down pouring rain and freezing cold. Every day there was something to do. It was great! One day I re-painted my room grey. Then when the grey dried we put quotes on the walls of my room and a giant nike swoosh. Some of my friends describe my room as freakin' sweet or say things such as I really like
it! I love my newly redone room. Also every day over break I ran with Bales or Tim. Except for when I was gone in minnesota for two days. That was my break from running. I ran around 40 miles over break! I
enjoyed the weather being nice enough to run outside. Plus one day it was warm enough to run without shirts on. It was getting spicy out. One day i went to Taco Bell with Jason, Colton, and Bales. We all ordered and when they asked for our names Jason was Fred, Bales was Scott, Colton was Buck, and I was Seguro. So we all ate and then went to Jason's house to "ball it up" (play basketball for those who don't know). We also went bowling that night. We wreaked havoc through out the night. It was legit. I loved hanging out with my friends over break. I really enjoyed catching up with every one and hanging out with new people. I also went to minnesoota over break with my family. We stayed at the waterpark of America. It was and oustanding time. I actually bonded with my family instead of fighting. It was so fun! The next day we went to the Mall of America. That was alright everything was so expensive I didn't get much at all because I don't need much and I didn't want much. Overall break was good and now I am pumped for summer break to arrive.

Crazy Friday

Well today is Friday. It has been a pretty crazy day. I woke up to pick up my friend and then my car stopped. I quickly figured out what happened and fixed it i left my friends house around 7:50. We got to school around 8. I walked in to try the side doors they were locked. So I came in through the front doors to notice that we were all getting checked for possible weapons, bombs and detonators. I felt like I was about to board a plane. So I asked why we were being checked and they told me we were under a bomb threat. I was like why would somebody even think of doing that. First off, the main reason some one would do this was for the administrators to cancel school. Which obviously didn't work because i wouldn't be typing in the computer lab for Mr.Dykstra. I am quite angry at this is situation because the person who put the threat out there is scaring a lot of people. As well as possibly harming people if they actually go through with their threat. Which won't happen. The person will get caught and get severely punished with jail time. I also think this person who posted this threat has no brain. I mean what could have caused you to go this far. Why would you want to injure and possibly kill innocent people. Nothing is ever bad enough for some one to pull a stunt like this. Well i am done venting with that. After getting through the security check I went to my locker to get my stuff for the day. I went to go take my biology test. I finished most of my test then i was off to first period. first period we did literally nothing. Then it was assembly time. The assembly went by fast and it was pretty exciting. After that it was time for third period and our sub let us talk all day. I ate lunch then was off to fourth period. We took a test then did a packet. Now here I am typing away in Mr. Dykstra's  class. That is my day so far. Sounds fun...... oh wait.
